If you enable the debug menu and change user agents with the drop down you cannot revert back to the Automatically Chosen option.

Reproducible in Safari 2 and the latest nightly (Fri May 4 0:19:03 GMT 2007).

Is there particular behavior associtated with "Automatically Chosen"?
If there isn't would it be better to use a "Safari" or "Default" option instead?

This is (at least partially) a Safari issue, so we cannot deal with it in the open source WebKit project. Could you please file it via <http://bugreport.apple.com>?

I have also seen this problem, and it's a pretty unpleasant one IMHO, but I never filed a bug with Apple (sorry about that).
