Go to http://www.amgen.com with Safari (any version)
==> You get a JavaScript alert saying "On a Macintosh, this site is best viewed through Firefox", and the site indeed doesn't display correctly.

Amgen is one of the largest biotech company in America and it used to have (and maybe still has) a very large number of Macintoshes on campus. It could be worthwhile for the evangelists to try and find a workaround for their web site to work with Safari, before contacting them.

Reporter, you say that the site doesn't display correctly in Safari. Are there any issues remaining when using a nightly build from <http://nightly.webkit.org>?

We might have some actual bugfixing to do before trying to evangelize the site.

Confirm that the page looks wrong on r24513 but it appears that Safari gets sent to an old copy of the front page (there is a button for Q4 06 financials, when viewed from Firefox you get an ad for Q2 07). If you click through to products the transparency on the menus works in Firefox but not in Safari.

I can confirm this Evangelism bug. Spoofing the page as Firefox fixes problems with the site.

I've checked the reported site in WebKit 4.0.4 (6531.21.10, r50918) and found no described problem.

The site works fine in the latest WebKit as well as in Safari 4.0.4 and as well as in Firefox 3.5.5.

I close this bug as resolved fixed an evangelism bug.
