2007-02-03 10:18:33 Chris Petersen: * SUMMARY At Gmail. com , attempting to tab from the Username field to the Password field places focus in Address URL field instead of password field. This occurs on TOT Tiger (Safari-Tiger-Production-19379-12027.tar.gz) and TOT Leopard (Safari-Leopard-Production-19379-12027.tar.gz) * STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. With TOT (Tiger) or TOT (Leopard), go to http://www.gmail.com 2. Type in Username field then press the tab key. Notice password field gets the proper focus. Type your password and login. 3. Now logout for you gmail account by clicking "Logout" link. 4. You should be redirected back to the gmail login page. Notice the caret is already placed in the User Name field. 5. Type your name in this field then press the tab key again 6. Instead of focus appearing in the password field, focus is now in the password field. * RESULTS Tabbing from User name field to password field should work consistently but doesn't. * REGRESSION Yes, this doesn't occur in safari in either stock Leopard9A357 or 10.4.9 (8P124) <rdar://problem/4974643>

I can't reproduce this, tabbing works fine after logout too.

I cannot reproduce this either. Is there anyone who can still get this bug to show up?

Followed steps in Comment #0, and it works as of a local debug build of WebKit r19993 with Safari 2.0.4 (419.3) on Mac OS X 10.4.8 (8N1037). This sounds a lot like Bug 12453 or Bug 12517.
