Summary Unable to enter data into a form
Patricia Warwick
Reported 2006-12-19 10:44:33 PST
I think this problem started today after I installed the new nightly update. I use Google Mail and when I read a message in the inbox and then go to reply, it expands the box to allow a space for text, but I cannot enter any text into the box. I've tested this with Safari and Firefox and both allow me to enter data into the reply area.

Dave Hyatt changed how some drawing methods worked, causing white-text-on-white-background issues on some of the low r18300s. (If you select-all on the page--Cmd-A--you'll just barely see the text when highlighted.) Please grab a nightly on or after r18314 and test again.

I am working with the most recent nightly update built today at 2:45 am ... I downloaded it before I discovered the problem.

Which web site (a URL and steps to reach it would be handy)? Which nightly build? (They have numbers like "r18302" if you download them from http://nightly.webkit.org/.)

A build from 2:45am would have been r18302 which still had the bug.

I mistakenly thought that a nightly update meant that there was one update per night. I just download the version that I am prompted to download when I start the browser each morning. I didn't notice any r*** number but I'll pay more attention in the future.
