A page containing only <APPLET CODE=><BASE HREF=file:http:""> hangs WebKit. This is a regression from released Safari.

Test case (hangs WebKit)

The page must come from a server (I used the Apache server in OS X) to hang, it won't hang locally. The bug was found using mangleme.

I can't reproduce the hang with current tip of tree, even serving the file from a web server.
