Summary [S60] no transparency in S60v3 browser?
James Watts
Reported 2006-09-22 08:59:24 PDT
I'd like to be able to add transparency effects to pages displayed by the S60 browser. The following testpages try two different strategies -- one stretches a transparent PNG image across the screen (overlay.html), and the second uses the opacity CSS attribute (overlay2.html). Neither seems to work, both work on FF and Safari. See URLs and attachments: http://www.jameswatts.com/test/overlay.html http://www.jameswatts.com/test/overlay2.html Tested on N80 V3.0614.0.3.

It might be an issue with a tiling 1x1 opimization, so you could try a 10x10 png and see if that works. iirc Transparent PNGs work. AnttiK also believes that they work.
