Summary Tab Key ignores a text field

Reported 2006-09-21 18:06:50 PDT
I found this URL from another bug report, but the behavior I observe is unrelated to the crash described by the previous user. Steps are below: 1) Load the url https://www.ease.ed.ac.uk/ 2) Hit Tab a couple of times. The cursor will jump between the address bar, the google search, and the password text field, ignoring the "University Username" text field. Using the latest nightly build. Same behavior observed for: http://webmail.ams.sunysb.edu/src/login.php Other SquirrelMail portals. Not sure if this is a bug.

Probably a duplicate of bug 10689.

Both example URLs in Comment #0 work for me on Safari 2.0.4 (419.3) on Mac OS X 10.4.7 (8J135) with a locally-built debug build of r16491. Note the "tabindex" attributes of the form elements will change the tabbing order on the page.

Works for me with both shipping 10.4.9 Safari/WebKit and with r23558 nightly.
