Description Jon 2006-07-19 18:21:38 PDT
Adding the iBench suite used by the WebKit team would allow opensource users/developers to check for performance regressions. If iBench can't be committed, than another solution should be found.

Also, the iBench link on the performance project page is broken, as I note in bug 10023.

Although SunSpider has been added, the WebKit repository still lacks a general performance suite that tests more aspects of the rendering system. It may still be useful for WebKit to have a general suite to run regression tests against, but I'll leave that for someone else to decide. If not, you can go ahead and close out this bug.

My understanding is that iBench requires a Windows-based server, so it wouldn't be of much help for most WebKit developers.
