Launching failure at the first attempt. Then everything seems ok clicking "continue".

I don't understand what this bug report is about. Launching what failed? How did it fail? Clicking "Continue" where? Which version are you using? etc.

When I click Webkit icon to launch the application this is the error message:
WebKit failed to open correctly on your previous attempt. Please disable any Safari extensions that you may have installed. If the problem continues to occur, please file a bug report at http://webkit.org/quality/reporting.html
At the bottom of the alert window I see the "continue" button. Clicking "continue" the application launch correctly.

I am using Safari Version 4 Public Beta (4528.16, r41443) on Mac OS 10.4.11.

The same with the last nighly build of Webkit (r41521)
Comment 3 Mark Rowe (bdash) 2009-03-09 14:24:41 PDT
That is expected behavior if the nightly build crashed during its previous launch.
Comment 4 Ahmad Saleem 2022-07-13 11:33:09 PDT
Considering it was standard behavior to bring dialog to inform users that the previous session / window was closed non-gracefully (due to whatever reason) to give information to the end-users.

I think nothing much can be done here and this can be closed as "RESOLVED INVALID". Thanks!
