Description Adam Roben (:aroben) 2011-03-02 10:44:53 PST
run-webkit-tests is timing out on apple-macpro-7 the first time a test crashes. See the URL for a list of recent buids on this bot. This is obviously bad, because we're not running any tests after the first crash, and we're not getting results for any tests at all!

It looks like this problem has been happening on-and-off for a while now:

http://build.webkit.org/builders/Leopard%20Intel%20Release%20%28Tests%29/builds/28922 (good)
http://build.webkit.org/builders/Leopard%20Intel%20Release%20%28Tests%29/builds/28925 (bad)
http://build.webkit.org/builders/Leopard%20Intel%20Release%20%28Tests%29/builds/28959 (still bad)
http://build.webkit.org/builders/Leopard%20Intel%20Debug%20%28Tests%29/builds/27131 (good)
http://build.webkit.org/builders/Leopard%20Intel%20Debug%20%28Tests%29/builds/27161 (bad again)

Looking a little more closely, here's what I see:

This bot is shared by both Leopard Intel Debug (Tests) and Leopard Intel Release (Tests). For a while, it was only doing Release builds. Then in build 28925 it started having this bug. From then on, every Release build has this bug. It eventually switched to doing only Debug builds, and the bug went away. Then in build 27161 the bug came back. From then on, every Debug build has this bug.

So, once the bug started happening on a particular configuration, it has never gone away.

Should we make this bot only participate in one sytle of build? (make it only debug or release?
Comment 4 Adam Roben (:aroben) 2011-03-11 10:50:10 PST
I don't think we have enough information yet to know whether that would help.

apple-macpro-7 was down. I restarted, cleaned, and installed system updates.

Leopard is gone, and this bot has been repurposed.
