Description Ryosuke Niwa 2010-09-28 08:09:54 PDT
It seems like build.webkit.org skips some revisions. This is a serious problem as we cannot tell whether or not the skipped revision caused a regression.

I think buildbot syncs to ToT for each cycle. This seems reasonable to me since otherwise it wouldn't be able to keep up with the commit rate.

If we want to see if a skipped revision caused a regression, you can just revert the change.

That's fine, and it's not the issue I'm addressing here. The bug is about build.webkit.org not picking up new revision checked in. i.e. some revision is checked in and shows up on IRC but never shows up on console / waterfall views until some other commits are made.

This problem seems to have ceased since we moved to new bots.
