Created attachment 473595 [details] Screenshot showing indented tables visible even under collapsed groups. Summary: Web inspector fails to properly encapsulate messages printed between calls to console.group or console.groupCollapsed and the following console.groupEnd. This regression was observed in earlier versions of Safari, however, the exact version range is not known. Reproduction: { console.clear(); for (let i = 1; i <= 2; i++) { console.groupCollapsed(i); for (let j = 1; j <= 2; j++) { // Check if both group and groupCollapsed are affected (yes!) console[j%2 ? 'group' : 'groupCollapsed'](`${i}:${j}`); console.table( // Check if computation-heavy operations are a factor (yes!) Array.from( { length: 10 }, () => Array.from( { length: 10000 }, () => Math.random().toString(36).slice(2), ) ), // Check if rendering is a factor (no!) ['0'], ); console.groupEnd(); } console.groupEnd(); } }
