When I drag a component on the screen using scriptaculous js libs the drag only occurs in the first direction dragged and it move exponentially faster as the mouse moves.

The previous build did not behave this way.

Hyatt i suspect you've changed what left/top return in some strange case.

The referenced url has been changed and no longer has the draggable window.

I fixed the broken test page.
The problem appears to be fixed with release r41379
