When loading an RSS with lots of large images webkit will beachball the browser and I can't do anything until the images are loaded. Late 2008 macbook pro. build r40663 but has been an issue for a while.

I cannot reproduce this.  The feed only appears to have 8 or so images.  Is that what you were referring to by "lots of large images"?

I can't seem to reproduce this anymore either. It was happening only in webkit and not in safari. I guess I'll reopen when I can figure out how to reproduce it reliably. 

The page should have about 50+ images on it.
