Canvas mirrored to peer connection appears to have long and sluggish frame queue on iOS-simulator https://youennf.github.io/webrtc-tests/src/content/capture/canvas-pc/ The captured and transferred image lags behind and does not catch up even when updates are stopped See rdar for screen capture
