When you check the following example in Safari 13, the elements on the bottom animated slider disappears periodically. This disappear happens only when: The top image scaled, the bottom slider has negative margin-top so it overlays the top and only when the bottom slider does not have transform.

It happens both on iPhone Safari 13.4.1 and OSX Safari 13.1. And seems like this bug is fixed in the OSX Technology Preview. Release 105 (Safari 13.2, WebKit 15610.1.10)
