Having bzip2 content-encoding would be excellent - save more bytes on the wire.

Mozilla has had an outstanding bug on this for a number of years - I'm poking them to finish it:

Any takers on the Webkit side of the house? ;-).

As far as Apple ports are concerned, this is not a WebKit feature, so a bug to request this should be filed at <bugreport.apple.com> (free registration required).
