emoji selectors appears twice in epiphany browser

The emoji selector appears twice in epiphany browser 3.34.2 (tested on Fedora 31).

Open any website in that browser, then give ctrl + in any text field in the webpage. That shortcut opens the emoji selector.
If you give it twice, the selector appears twice as shown in the attached picture (which was taken while browsing youtube).

This is GTK showing its emoji chooser for the WebKit emoji chooser search entry even when the no-emoji input hint is used. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/merge_requests/1272
