Description Peter Kasting 2008-03-19 15:43:33 PDT
In some editable area, type or paste the following:
foo bar baz
Now double-click on "bar" between the 'b' and 'a'. If you hit shift-left at this point, the beginning of the selection moves left one, instead of the end of the selection moving left one. If you hit shift-right instead, the letter 'a' is selected, which is just bizarre. If instead you double-click between the 'a' and the 'r', then shift-right does what you want, but shift-left selects the 'a'.

Reproduces on Mac and Windows Safari 3.1. This may be a regression. I haven't checked for an old build without it.
