Description Dominik Röttsches (drott) 2017-06-27 11:13:08 PDT
Rendering a font which shifts requested variation axis coordinates using a mapping from the avar table for this axis [https://www.microsoft.com/typography/otspec/avar.htm ] results in incorrect glyph shapes if the avar mapping is different from the default linear mapping without avar.

I discovered this while working on a test suite for the font matching section 5.2. of CSS Fonts Level 4. My test font contains an avar table. I'll point to the web platform tests pull request once that's uploaded.

The fix for this issue was needed outside the WebKit project, therefore this is being resolved as 'Moved'.

This should now be fixed in shipping software.
