Description Benny Vluggen 2008-02-12 14:22:38 PST
Flash sites, AJAX sites, Silverlight sites offer a great user experience for their target audiences. There is one big problem however and that is the lack of browser integration opportunities for designers of such sites. Users no longer are able to use the browser GUI, like the back and forward button, refresh, find, bookmarking, user style sheets, printing etc.

It would be great if WebKit would offer a solution for this.
For example it would be great to have an addItem(name, title) method on the history object, an addBookmark(...) method, a way to set the target function of a find query or to receive a print request, have (read) access to the user style sheet preferences etc.

NPAPI and Webkit Plugins are not supported any more. Can this be marked as "RESOLVED WONTFIX"? Thanks!
