Description Michael Gratton 2016-11-14 16:19:13 PST
I'm currently running Ephy/WebKitGTK 3.22/2.14.1 with WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1 due to Bug 164049. This mostly works fine, except that the picture content for VIDEO elements is not updated when the video is playing, unless there is some other interactive element overlaid (e.g. popup/on-hover).

YouTube videos exhibit this, for example - the video's picture is not updated unless you mouse over it, causing the title to fade in.

This is already fixed on ToT, but the fix is not integrated into 2.14.1. I think both 2.14.2 and 2.15.1 have it.

Ok then, please Michael update to 2.14.2 if possible :)

Sorry, it's not in 2.14.2, my fault. But it will be in 2.14.3 :)
