Summary [GTK] Huge memory usage as you scroll down through Google+ pages

Epiphany 3.16.2 using WebKit 2.8.3 (I have no idea what those version numbers in this bugzilla form mean, sorry!) Using https://plus.google.com/+ZeeshanAli/posts as a test case: Just loading that page, Epiphany eats ~270 MB of RAM for that WebKitWebProcess. Then, as you start scrolling down, by the time you reach posts dated March 2015 the memory usage has ballooned to ~500 MB and more! Somehow, Firefox (according to about:memory) manages to keep the page at <100 MB at all times. Chrome (on Windows) starts around 90 MB and grows as you scroll, but much more slowly (around 120-130 MB when you reach the same spot where Epiphany/WebKit is in the 500 MB's)

(In reply to comment #0) > Epiphany 3.16.2 using WebKit 2.8.3 > (I have no idea what those version numbers in this bugzilla form mean, > sorry!) They're meaningless; just choose the latest one, like you did.

Closing this one, because G+ is part of killedbygoogle.com now, so it's not like we're going to be able to test this again ;)
