Flash of white while dragging window during image load

Try dragging the window around while loading that (very large) image.  You'll see a flash of white during each drag.  Rather annoying.

I'm not seeing any flash of white while dragging window while loading <http://coolcosmos.ipac.caltech.edu/resources/media_images/ssc2006-16a.jpg>. Safari 5.1.5, OS X Lion 10.7.3.
