This is not a rendering error, since each layer contains correct information about its position. Yet, only the root layer is painted in the right position.

Changing the title since setting the flag ENABLE_3D_RENDERING fixes the issues that triggered this bug.

Created attachment 170776 [details] Patch Turn on the flag ENABLE-3D_RENDERING when WTF_USE_TILE_BACKING_STORE flag is on. This flag controls perspective and preserves-3d behavior.

Comment on attachment 170777 [details] Patch eh.. this is not the way we usually do this. We usually use WEBKIT_OPTION_DEFAULT_PORT_VALUE(3D_RENDERING ON). See on top in the same file.

See on top in the same file. I think at the moment this flag can only be enabled together with some of the other flags and not all the time.
