Problem: Webkit never fills in the user id or password field automatically, even if Autofill Web Forms: User Names and Passwords is checked in preferences.
Webkit version: (Nightly) Version 2.0.4 (419.3) downloaded 6/22/06.
How to reproduce:
Go to a URL for which you know there is a stored user name/password (where autocomplete=off is not set).
The examples I have tried are:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/GlobalNavControllerServlet
http://connect.apple.com
What should happen:
The user name and password should be filled in.
What does happen:
These fields are both blank.
Reproducible: Yes, for every page I tried with latest webkit nightlies for the last week or so.
Regression:
Works fine on: Safari (stock version from 10.4.7), Camino, Omniweb.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug! This is a known incompatibility between production Safari releases and nightly WebKit builds, thus I'm marking this as RESOLVED/WONTFIX. See this page for more information.
