Created attachment 154088 [details] Bug demo In the attached demo, the text should be filled with a B&W gradient, instead it's red-ish. Removing the text-shadow property makes it look the way it should.

Safari, Chrome, and Firefox all agree on rendering for this test case. I don't believe there is any remaining compatibility issue.
