Pretty much self-explanatory. For an example, watch a video on trailers.apple.com: you can change the volume using the up/down arrow keys, but the volume slider does not move. You can also change the volume when not in fullscreen, and the fullscreen volume slider will not have moved when you go fullscreen. Tried in r122676.
