This issue occurred twice last week (first time a ~15 minute idle before being killed, as it tried to update it's repository, second time undiagnosed), and just (3:18 PM GMT) occurred again. Output is not particularly helpful:
<beverloo> sheriffbot: roll-chromium-deps r122745
<sheriffbot> beverloo: Rolling Chromium DEPS to r122745
<sheriffbot> beverloo: Failed to create DEPS roll:
<sheriffbot> Failed to run "['/mnt/git/webkit-sheriff-bot/Tools/Scripts/webkit-patch', '--status-host=queues.webkit.org', 'po..." exit_code: 2
Running "webkit-patch roll-chromium-deps 122745" manually works well (although its behavior is slightly different in that it immediately lands), so this may still be related to a broked/incomplete checkout.

This seems to be fixed.
