This bug is also in Radar as <rdar://4439153> * SUMMARY zillow.com reports that it doesn't support the safari browser yet. Maybe they could use some help? =) spoofing gets you in but doing a property search ends up in error (see screenshot)

Spoofing as Firefox w/TOT, everything seems to work fine. We've contacted the site developer to try to learn more.

As there are no known issues when spoofing, putting this into Evangelism component.

Hi there, This is Bryan from Zillow.com. Webkit now works with Zillow but the mainstream release version of Safari does not, this is due to the lack of XSLTProcessor in the JS engine. More details available from http://www.zillowblog.com/zillow_blog/2006/02/safari_support.html I've spoken with Mark Malone from Apple and once the next release of Safari goes live we'll take down the blocking page for Safari. I'm a mac user and can't wait for XSLTProcessor to be available in Safari. Let me know if there are any questions. Thanks -B-

Bryan, can you do a feature test before doing the user agent string test so that WebKit nightlies with the XSLTProcessor available are able to use the site? Even when a new release of Safari comes out that supports XSLTProcessor, every Mac user will NOT instantaneously upgrade to Leopard. That means users on older versions of Mac OS X may still get a bad user experience on the web site after it is "opened up". Such a feature test would also catch "unknown" browsers that may appear in the future (although they are likely to be a small minority).
