http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?view=rev&revision=112747 looks to me like a more likely suspect than any change in WebKit, especially since it started failing on the DEPS bots at that revision as well:

Verified that http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?view=rev&revision=112747 is the culprit by running the test locally with and without the change.
