the fixes for bug 70483 appear to still have two tests failing on chromium, at least:

Note that comment #1 is just for the test_expectations.txt suppression; the code is still broken.
unfortunately, I got distracted by other things, and in between that and getting a build environment up to the point where I could attempt to debug this took too long, so I didn't make any useful progress. It's all you from here ...

On Chromium, the tests pass on Win and Linux but timeout on Mac (at least for 10.6).
