The Timeline panel has horizontal sliders at the top that allow one to zoom in on a particular area of the timeline. This is the only way to get a useful display for pages with heavy or continuously updating timelines.

The Network panel has the same issue. The attached screenshot shows the network timeline for docs.google.com after a few seconds of viewing. Without the ability to zoom, the waterfall is nearly useless.

Is there any way to get the same UI on the Network panel?

Please file a new bug (https://www.webkit.org/new-inspector-bug) if the bug/feature/issue is still relevant to WebKit trunk.
