It seems like we don't have any ruby test coverage for pinyin and zhunyin at the moment but we should.
I've heard that it's very uncommon for Chinese to be written vertically so we probably don't need vertical text + ruby tests.

it is not common to write vertical text in mainland China, although nowadays, many advertisements are written vertically. But it is common to write vertical text in Taiwan.
