Dear Admin,
The french accents do not work on safari with my xml/xslt web page.
You can find this page on
http://www.institut.math.jussieu.fr/~fpaugam/parts-fr/index.xml
I putted the right format line:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<?xml-stylesheet href="../style/webpage-fr.xsl" type="text/xml"?>
They work perfectly well with firefox.
The safari version is less than 1 year old (on a recent powerbook)
and it does not work on two different macs. I do not want to type
in every accent in the html format because this is a huge work.
Best regards,
Frederic Paugam

As a workaround, you can to try to set the output encoding to something that doesn't support accented
Roman, for example:
<xsl:output method="html" encoding="windows-1251" />
The encodings of your xml and xsl files themselves shouldn't be changed for this to work.
