Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Blot
2. Type something with Kotoeri Hiragana; do not confirm the input session
3. Open Character Palette, use "Insert" button to insert a character.
The inline input area is replaced with the inserted character
4. Resume typing
The contents of the inline input area re-appears.
Expected results: the inline input area should be auto-confirmed before inserting the character.
