Originally reported: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=58839 Here's the reduction: <table width="10" height="10" cellpadding="0"><td bgcolor="#000000"></td> The problem seems to be that the <tr> element gets the width, but the <td> element doesn't. That means the bgcolor attribute doesn't actually draw anything to the screen.

Is this still valid? The testcase appears to render the same in Firefox and Chrome.

I changed the reduction on Comment 0 in JSFiddle: Link - https://jsfiddle.net/gkpas34y/ All browsers (Safari Technology Preview 152, Chrome Canary 107 and Firefox Nightly 106) render this same. I am going to add few people to confirm whether it is reproducible to them but will tag it as 'RESOLVED CONFIGURATION CHANGED' for time being.
