Created attachment 69161 [details] GIF showing visual noise bug Animated GIFs that use the "do not dispose" method are showing glitches/visual noise that is not supposed to be there. See attached "OldProgress.gif" for example. When tweaked to "unspecified" disposal method (NewProgress.gif) the issue is much less severe.

I can reproduce this with Preview.app on Mac, not only in Safari. This is a bug below WebKit, so closing as INVALID. It will continue to be tracked by Apple internally.
