I think it's better to squash a similar fix with this one. So, I'm renaming this bug to accommodate both fixes.

Does not it make easier to have multiple library versions installed on the system?

If it is not a real issue, just cq+ it.

I used the major version in include and share directory names. We will break API only with major version changes.
