Open the Web Archive The banner ads in the page appear multiple (~12) times. I've attached a Web Archive that can be used for testing.

This isn't super-surprising. WebArchives have this problem in general. They save a snapshot of the page - including the DOM that has often dynamically been changed by scripts - at the time the archive is created. But when you reopen one, it runs the onload handlers again, which often replicate content. I'm sure we have various bugs that allude to this, don't know if there's a specific umbrella, and don't know if we've even theorized any possible solutions. I do know it's been around forever :)
