This bug report originated from issue QTBUG-5010 http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-5010 --- Description --- e.g. Firefox on Windows - you click a middle mouse button and scroll using the mouse pointer, without moving the mousewheel.

OK, this seems to be a request for an enhancement. P5ing until someone can shed a light on whether this would be a killer feature.
