I stumbled over the following page when reading about color management in browsers:
http://foto.beitinger.de/browser_farbmanagement/
the picture with the text "Rot - Grün - Blau" and "Falls dieses Bild in seltsamen Farben angezeigt wird, unterstützt anzeigende Software kein Farbmanagement"
isn't displayed correctly in
*) the chromium web browser 5.0.322.0 (38532)
*) midori, epiphany (with webkit-gtk 1.1.21)
*) arora 0.10.2 and qt-webkit 4.6.1
what is supposed to be green is being shown as violet/purple
the picture seems to be displayed correctly with firefox 3.6 [the colors match those of the real world / a photograph]
I don't know in what way this possibly could be "fixed" or if this is a duplicate of another - I just wanted to let you guys know that there's a problem
some system information:
2.6.33-rc7*
amd/ati catalyst 10.1
~amd64
Gentoo Linux
xorg-server 1.6.5

translation of the text:
"red - green - blue"
"if this picture is shown in strange colors the displaying software doesn't support color management"
