Created attachment 46522 [details] Extra padding on search inputs When a search input is styled as a text input (with -webkit-appearance: textfield), extra space shows up to the left of the text. This padding isn't reflected in CSS and, as far as I can tell, can't be removed.

Just experienced this bug. Windows appears fine, I can only see the extra padding on OS X

JSFiddle here: http://jsfiddle.net/zachleat/JH9ke/ Also cuts off the clear button. Confirmed in Chrome 24 and Safari 6 on Mac OS.
