Created attachment 479501 [details] Screenshot of non-empty search field Tested with Safari 26.4 and Safari Technology Preview 242. If you enter a string in the Console tab search field, it filters the console message. If you then press the Clear Filters button, it clears the search field. But if instead you clear the search field, it does not dismiss the Clear Filters button, even though the filters have already been cleared. In this case, the Clear Filters button is redundant and useless, just taking up space. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the Safari web inspector to the Console tab 2. Enter "google in the search field 3. Open youtube.com 4. Clear the search field with the close button in the field Expected results: The Clear Filters button disappears, along with "There are unread messages that have been filtered". Actual results: The Clear Filters button and "There are unread messages that have been filtered" remains, even though it's now inaccurate.
