This bug report originated from issue QTBUG-3949 <http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-3949> --- Description --- <canvas> clearRect does not use transparent black color instead it uses white color. This is different from other webkit based browsers thet currently clear with transparent black color.

I can't open the original bug at nokia but it doesn't seem valid. A given rect is "filled" or better reseted to transparent black by: p->fillRect(rect, Qt::transparent); Qt::transparent is transparent black (http://doc.trolltech.com/4.4/qt.html#GlobalColor-enum). Can we close this bug?

Created attachment 40354 [details] clearRect This example shows the use of clearRect. If clearRect works like expacted, you should see a green page and a black border at the top left. This rect schould be filled with green (transparent black of the clearRect). This example works for me on QtLauncher. I close this bug for now. Please reopen the bug if you have another example, that doesn't work.
