I have not found recent reports of an old problem reappearing in the latest builds (or perhaps since I updated to Snow Leopard): after logging in (or using a bookmark while the browser still has my cookie), GMail starts loading, but it stops. It does not even get to the Inbox preview page (which a recent GMail labs feature introduced), or the status bar of gmail loading.
I have seen this before, Chromium did this for long (the Chrome beta still does it), but now neither the latest Safari (Version 4.0.3 (6531.9)), nor the latest WebKit nightly build loads GMail for me.
Thanks for looking into this.
Laszlo

Do you have any "Safari enhancers" installed? Do you have Google Gears?
GMail definitely works for most people.
László Sándor
It was Google Gears indeed. Stupid of me, sorry.
Thanks!
