Safari Technology Preview Release 206 (Safari 18.0, WebKit 20621.1.3.21.1) on Mac 15.1 (24B83) iMac M3
Cross document view-transitions (feature flag) causes back button to render previous page un-clickable. I've tried this on a number of sites and it is the same for all of them that have cross page view transition.
Example (not mine):
https://researchbythesea.com/
1. Click a speaker and on the subsequent speaker page use the back button to return to the first page. Page is not clickable. Refreshing the page enables it again.
If you turn off the Cross document view-transitions feature flag it behaves as normal.

Matt, is the same as bug 280703 ?

Very likely, just need to verify with a recent WebKit trunk build.
