In the video I've added some js to the console to output with the window width.

You can see a reproduction here - https://codepen.io/crisward/pen/rNXyWwN - resize > 2048 wide a the dots become opaque.
Also reported in safari 17 within a redit post, but unclear if its the same bug as they only mention window resizing and not the specific width above.
