Hovering the mouse over the cbc.ca homepage makes the banner on the right grow and take over all the space. It happens in Safari and DuckDuckGo browsers, both WebKit-based, but not in Firefox. https://mstdn.ca/@steveroy/113048620127312505

It looks like some odd interaction between flex and grid layout where the expanding container is a flex item but also a grid container. very peculiar.
