I am using the Epiphany browser (which uses net-libs/webkit-gtk) on Gentoo. The bug seems to happen in all versions starting 2.44.1 through 2.44.2-r600. Trying to play ANY video on rokfin.com produces a garbled sound. However, the sound is fine once the same videos have been downloaded and played through Totem player. Oddly, rokfin.com is the only website I am aware of that triggers this. I filed a relevant bug report at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/epiphany/-/issues/2427 Many thanks.
